Here is Ms. Rosalie and she DID have triplets!!
The brown one with the white face is a boy---cute isn't he? The solid brown one and the other spotted are two smaller females. The little ram tried to kill them all by jamming himself up at the "door" but with some pushing and pulling on my part---they all got out fine. A bit of tangling had occurred as you can imagine when there are three sharing one small space :-) Let me assure you----Rosalie is one of my smallest ewes. It was definitely a small space to share! That is why I kept wondering if she was having triplets---she was so big!
This is my very first set of triplets. Not only am I excited about that but I got two spotted lambs too!! Cool huh? I will probably keep one of the ewe lambs since this was one of my most promising "worm resistant" breedings but I don't have room to keep all of them---so a ewe and the ram lamb will go up for sale. Precious though aren't they---makes you want to keep all of them.

Wow, wonderful! And you got your spots, too!!
Makes me a twinge jealous. We'd have to do a lot of fencing if we were to get animals, and we're considering it...kind of. I take care of our school's sheep and I realize how very easy it is to care for them. And they're such sweet animals.
Oh wow, what beautiful babies! ELATION :) They're gorgeous!!
Congratulations to Rosalie and you! Pretty neat that you could help her through it, too. I hope you post more pics as they grow!
El--don't even talk of fencing! We fenced everything we have so far---and still have a bit more to go Yik! (hiatus time) but it was worth it. We do really really enjoy our animals--even the sad parts.

Are you leaving all three on her, supplementing or bottle feeding the smallest?

I was going to supplement. I even talked with Barbara Webb about it. However--my lambs seem to be staying full and hence won't touch the bottle no matter how hard I try to trick them into it. I will try for a few more days just to make sure no one falls behind.
By the way---other than one other ewe-- the rest of mine I believe will be about another month.
Cheryl---I was more than excited when I saw the spotted female. I didn't know she was there at first-- I happened to double check and felt her head and swoosh--out I pulled her little spotted self :-D
God must have heard my prayers since I'd been asking for triplets and spotted since last year! Yeah! I would have been happy with the two--but I have to admit I am extra happy with the three!
