I have..

Two new baby chicks courtesy of my hen hatching them. There are about 50 more eggs being brooded by 5 hens altogether so maybe we'll get a few more.

And I have some left over Jerusalem artichokes. Not very large---that is a nickel in with them in the picture---and only a few red and also some white tubers. Free to two people for only the cost of the postage--which would absolutely be under 2.50. Want some? Contact me through my email.

Congrats on the baby chicks! Ours (from the feed store) are about 5 or 6 weeks old now, and looking *huge* - definitely more like small chickens than big (no longer fuzzy) chicks.

Hi Monica,
Just popped over to catch up and see how you're doing - it looks like you've had a busy spring! I hope all's well with you.

Cheryl! I have been waiting for you to show back up. I will go over to your blog now and see how your house is coming :-D

Caroline---I never have had any more chicks hatch as of yet (05/14). Mine are starting to feather but not by much--yours are quite a bit older. One thing I have noticed though is that two are much much easier than a whole bunch. They don't smell as bad either :-D
